I'm very proud of Kay. She's been doing this for so long, and she's been made fun of so much, but she's still going AND she's improving! We should all aspire to be more like Kay.

i love how he takes into account when people are homecooks and when people are professionals, i hate review channels that act like every meal should be restaurant quality. its still funny but hes giving her real advice that can help her improve and its just really great seeing how hes not treating her awfully because some channels have been so mean to this poor woman

I love Kay's cooking. Her comment section must be one of the only ones on yt where people are overwhelmingly positive on every video she posts. It is so wholesome and rare.

One thing I love is how she genuinely enjoys cooking and learning new recipes and providing home cooked meals to her family. Gotta love this lady despite her never once turning on the cooking channel to see how something is actually done.

Kay is truly the ultimate redemption story. I teared up a little bit.

i feel like given the other abominations she's made her son taste test, this dish must seem like 5 star dining in comparison with how much he genuinely enjoys it lol! much as we bag on kay's cooking, she seems to be such a nice likeable person and it looks like she's learning! well done kay! one day you'll earn the auntie title!

I have to say, there is some huge improvement to the point that Uncle Roger isn't really negative about it. This is not the worst cooking, congrats Kay!

Spotted her out and about in Sheffield - England incase you wondered where the finest culinary skills are from. Us yorkshire folk have finally found out rice needs to be cooked and we shouldnt be eating it crunchy. We all look to kay for our food information and this new move off cooking rice has made a lot of us very happy. We cant wait to learn more tips from Kay.

@uncle Roger - When I watched Kay's first video - I was watching Chef James reviewing your review of it. I honestly thought that it was a fake video just for laughs. especially after the garlic fiasco. If there is one good thing about Kay though - she is certainly tenacious at this. She is not giving up. I am not expecting too much though. I hope she surprises us.

This lady always reminds me of my grandma. She doesn't know how to cook either. I think my mom learned to cook because of that. She's genuine! My grandma had HER mom always cooking so she never learned to cook cause great grandma was a terror in the kitchen. (It was one of great grandmas safer spaces... yeah.)

I think Kay was referring to adding a spoonful of water towards the end of cooking fried rice.
I've seen people doing this to fluff up the rice (I heard the steam does something) but Kay probably didn't know it should be just a spoonful only.
Well done Kay keep improving
P.s. even cracking some eggs on the pan with hot oil, then throwing some old cold rice in there and mix, then when the egg is cooked and rice is fluffy put some soy sauce (one tablespoon for a small one portion of rice) is beautiful already!

One thing about Kay, is that she tries. Third attempt she managed to make a decent dish. She's mostly self taught and her improvement is what people like about her.

I love that we all know (as well as Kay I think!) that her cooking is horrifying 😂but I love that after critiquing her cooking Mr Roger/Nigel gives her some grace that she’s trying - there’s something sweet and innocent in her trying and she doesn’t deserve the hate she got from the previous two vids.
