I was watching Masterchef Australia season 15 episode 1 and the participants screamed like crazy when Jamie Oliver entered the room. Judges went on about how Jamie revolutionized food for the whole planet. The only thing I could think of wasโฆ. โWhat would Uncle Roger think when he sees this?โ
Offer him a chicken nugget. Dude was on the war path because they used parts of the animal we normally don't eat like that was a bad thing.

It sounds weird, but there are ramen places that will give you kimchi as a topping. You usually have to explicitly ask for it, though.

Spinach is great in ramen! Most iekei tonkotsu here in japan has spinach. My wife and I always get double portions. Great fit. But itโs not a ballโฆ

And then it taste horrible and they have their self doubt.. but matter of fact, itโs the recipe fault at the frost place..
We kind of already knew this from that last fried rice video. After Uncle Roger did it we realize how much behind-the-scenes and editing the JO team must have done to make his fried rice look edible. JO's fried rice did look wet from the water and olive oil but it at least looked clean enough, no color only because of lack of soy sauce, but Uncle Roger's version was a train wreck. Thinking back, there's no way JO's rice can look that good after adding water AND tofu.
and the sad thing is they wont like it and never try it again and it doesnt matter wich version no kind ov them will be tried after his sh*t

The broth from the Ramen was so watery... even I can tell and I did Ramen just once but it still looked better than the Ramen from Jamie. Japanese Ramen are known for their thick and flavourful broth. And I almost cried after seeing the eggs... who would ever do this? Q_Q And let's not talk about the spinach ball ... I have to say that the Ramen from James looked very good. I'd like to try them one day. The good thing about it is that the UK isn't far away from germany so it would be possible. :D

I was very lucky to eat at Matsudai Ramen for my birthday. The sunset tonkotsu ramen was the best bowl of ramen I've had in my whole life. And I'm obsessed with ramen, I've even eaten five bowls in a row at the enormous ramen museum in Yokohama. Absolutely the best and worth a visit to Cardiff, bravo James you're doing amazing ๐๐๐

Boiled the eggs in the salt water for 6-8mins. Onsen eggs use the room temperature eggs, when the water boiled, lower down the heat and boiled the eggs for 6-8mins so uncle Roger is correct ๐
I feel Jamie should gradually open up his restaurants again. They will start thriving simply because people are going to start herding over to check the level of culinary monstrosity of the recipes.
